Single Horns

Doublehorns

The different Dieter Otto double horn models offering a variety of bell shapes and sizes, cater to the widest range of individual needs and tastes.
All of the models have excellent response and intonation.

Triplehorns

The triple horn, a special masterpiece amongst the Dieter Otto models, has separate lead pipes and first branches on the B flat/low F and high F sides that combine all of the advantages of a double horn with a full sounding high F side.

Natural Horns

The origins of the french horn are found in the natural horn. The need for practical convenience led to the long pipe being formed into the familiar circular shape. Without modern day valves and slides, the natural horn is restricted to the overtone series determined by the length of the tubing. It is possible to create additional pitches between the natural harmonics by closing off the bell with the right hand.

Wagner Tuba

Richard Wagner found the inspiration for an instrument, now known as the Wagner Tube, during a visit to Adolphe Sax in Paris. The sound is a cross between a trombone and a horn.
Wagner Tuben made by Dieter Otto embody the spirit of Wagner`s sound concept as well as optimizing both intonation and response.

Trumpets/Flugelhorn

The hand made trumpets and flugelhorns from Dieter Otto make an immediate impression
through the way the notes lock into place. They also allow you to play securely into the high
and extreme upper registers. Difficult leaps and large intervals are easy to negotiate and master.
